So... what's all this about dopplegangers and evil sides of the townsfolk?

Well.. as stated in the premise, Clary-Sage is about to get it's loan called in to pay back the three centuries of prosper they've had. And the way the fates have decided to do it, is to have a "second side" or a "shadow self" of every living person in Clary-Sage suddenly crop into existence. They look exactly the same as the original person so it's impossible to tell them apart. The only way to know for sure is to see how they act and hear what they say. These shadows are pure EVIL and act as such. They destroy other people's work, say horrible things, potentially get into some very disturbing sexual situations (partner willing or NOT) and everything else you could think of that would be the opposite of your original character.

Every player in the game will be applying for not only their first and original character but also for their shadow side. It's all worked into the application, though! They aren't seperate pieces or seperate characters you have to apply for and be approved for both or anything like that.

At the beginning of the game there will only be the original residents of the town while we all get to know each other and get into playing. But the time will come when a notice will go up and everyone in the game will start learning how to bring in their shadow selves.

Once that happens the full plot regarding the shadow selves and how they came to be and how they plan on destroying the town as payback for the 3 centuries of wonderful bliss the Rowan Tree bestowed upon them will be unravelled. The reason it's not being told up front is because we would like to take into consideration everyone's characters and backstory to incorporate it into the plot itself. :)
